RIght now, I'm taking in a friend and her two boys. She is going through a divorce and needs a place to stay until she can get an apartment and a job. She lives in another state, so she will need somewhere until she can get on her feet.

Last week, we helped our next door neighbor lay sod. We let them borrow our rotto-tiller an our lawn mower, helped them clear out all the weeds and then helped them lay the sod.

Every once in a while, I make cookies and deliver them to the doorsteps of my neighbors, without them knowing who it was.

My hubby is always the first one to go help someone move in or out. We live in an area that is growing like crazy and we usually have at least 1 or 2 families move in a week. He is always there to help.

I hope this helps answer your question!!

I do love my neighbors even the rotton ones, they are very sweet! My husband noticed Bill's lawnmower was not running right so he told him to bring it over and he would check it out. We replaced the blades and air filter, cleaned it up ,I even waxed it for him and put his name on the back of the seat, he was speechless. The little widow across the street lives alone and has had both hips replaced, she asked me if I could trim her toenails for her which I was happy to do for her! I would do anything for anyone in need and smile and wave, but that's just us.

My neighbor is a man of 89 years who lives alone after his wife passed on some time ago. Each morning I cook him breakfast and bring in his newspaper for him.

My neighbor is everyone I meet. I have shared a smile, shared food, given clothing, been a listening ear when needed..... the list is too long to mention but I think you get the idea.

Well to be honest have done nothing for them. Not even witnessed to them. Which me being out of church, kind of hard to go up to them and say hey you need to be in church..lol when I need to be in there myself. Other than that have nothing aganist them. I think they are like me. They stay at their home and I stay at mine.
