Does that really make me evil to you? You really think I will go to hell? I don't understand why you are so stuck in your ways. What you believe does not make you evil or not!

What i'm trying to say is I don't judge Christians and their ways so why do they insist that if we don't live by the bible we will go to hell?

What we Believe does not make us evil or not. You see the difference? Evil is live backwards, ever notice that? Could it be a code to live by so that when we profess things against living we are being evil? By the way, George Washington was a Diest, which means he believe nuch like you, perhaps whats different is that he was seen praying to God while he led the men of the revolution. Not on purpose was he seen, but there isn't much we do in the Military that is ever really private. In one barracks I was in, the commodes were even exposed to everyone, in a line.

I don't believe in evil, just extremes of good and bad.

Like you I don't believe so much in the Bible but I do believe that God or something bigger than us mere humans exsists and we can't even begin to comprehend the complexities that come into play when we think of God's power.

I also believe in reincarnation, ghosts and a few other things, I am by no means evil nor have ever been accussed of such.

If you are comfortable with your beliefs, that should be good enough. Your personal spiritual beliefs and growth is just that, personal. No one should judge you for believing different than they do. No one can say that a personal belief is going to be the same for someone else or that it even should be.

Don't you think that generalizing is kinda stuck-up? I'm a Christian, and I don't believe that Heaven will only be Christians. I believe there will even be Wiccans in Heaven. So if you expect respect for what you believe (from anyone, not just Christians) then show some. You can't lump anyone into a category. Just because a certaina mount of people believe something vaguely the same, doesn't make every one of them the same person.

When you believe that the Bible is the God's life manual for us...written by humans and inspired by God, you believe that Jesus is the way and the truth and the life and no one will enter to the Father's house expect through Him.

It is about the free will. We are not sending you to the hell. If you end up in hell...Blame yourself. The Gospel is that God loves you. He does not want to lose you!!! But HE WILL respect your choice. You do not have to be a bad, evil person to miss heaven. Just wait a little bit longer with your decision...we do not know how much time you have left...It is like a life insurance, you need to take it before you die. It is free, but it is not cheep. Jesus gave His life so you do not have to be separated from God after you die. He is your Mediator, just give Him something to work with. We Christians do not go to heaven because we are good, we go to heaven because we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. He is the one who saves us!!!

So what keeps you from doing business with God? Why are you not wanting to join in to the winning team? What is the "junk" in your life that you keep so important that you are not willing to trade it to "the real thing"???

Evil is as evil does. As long as your actions are not intended to cause harm, then what's evil about you?

Since you accept the possibility of a someone or something greater than all else, I'd say you're halfway to being a believer.

Whether you turn to Christianity as an answer to "Who's out there?" or something else, at least keep looking.

He promised that if you seek, you WILL find. Good luck.

Not having faith in the Lord does not give you an automatic 'evil' status...perhaps a little wicked...

Seriously, the bible says we've all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. So none of us are 'good' in the purest sense of good- only God is good.

You have to understand that this whole hell thing is not something that God is waiting to send you TO, but is instead desiring to deliver you FROM. That is why He sent Jesus to break the curse of death, (hell), over the lives of men who would receive the gift of salvation and forgiveness for sins. He wants to reconcile mankind to Himself.

I hope you choose to learn more about the God who created you so you can make a better decision about your life here and your time in the hereafter.

RESPONSE TO ADDITIONAL COMMENT: Your disbelief in the bible does not disqualify you from reaching heaven, at least at this point- it's your refusal to accept Jesus as Savior. He's the one who redeems your life from death and covers your sins with forgiveness. The bible instructs us in the ways of God, helps us to understand what He desires of us, and directs our lives. You can't have Jesus and reject the Word of God.

You are questioning faith and most if not all Christians consider that to be a sin...and accordingly you need to ask forgiveness and do penance (usually donate some amount to the Chruch) to bail you out. Crock of crap but that's what many Christians think. Questioning doesn't make you evil it makes you progressive. PEACE!

I agree with you. There's no reason to subscribe to the absolutist ideals of either Theists or Atheists.

There's no reason why you can't believe there is a prime creative force and yet not be a Christian, or not believe in the bible and yet not be an atheist.

Now, calm down! *smile* You are what is called an agnostic. That means, you do believe there is a God, but you're not sure what "form" God takes, of if even He can be "known".

No, I dont think you're evil.

I do pray, in Jesus' name, that God will show you the answers to all your questions and that you will know the true and living God.

Best wishes.
