This depends. Maybe she doesn't eat because she's allergic to something (or a lot of things). I know someone who needs to know all of the ingredients before she eats because she's allergic to a lot of things. Don't assume she has an eating disorder, especially since she eats the bread. Don't ask her about it either. Unless you hear or see her throwing up the bread and desserts, don't assume she has an eating disorder because you do see her eat. But if you are to see her throw up purposely, inform someone. As much as she may hate you, you might help to save her life.

that sounds really familiar, when i was going to camp I had IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) which meant i would get diarrhea from greasy or spicy or food I'd never had before, which is not fun, especially when you can't make your own food, Anyway I would not eat anything from the cafeteria except white bread, and cheese and apples (and the deserts) I don't know if anyone noticed, but it was embarassing trying to explain why I wouldn't eat the food. So I think it is something to be concerned about... It's not life threatening but if she's growing she's probably not gettting the vitamins she needs, or enough iron in her diet.

Maybe she thinks that by not eating a full meal she will lose weight. Maybe she thinks she is fat. If she is really really skinny then she is maybe anorexic. It is really not healthy to not eat. Just picking at food will not help you to lose weight. Especially food like bread which just bloats you. And desserts which are fattening anyway.

You can be concerned, but don't make an issue of this. It might just be embarassing for her to eat in front of strangers, she might just be a highly picky eater. I wouldn't be worried unless you see that her lack of eating is causing her to be weak or obviously ill.
