i am gay but i am to shy to get a boyfriend here so most of my boyfriends i get online but my sister breaks them all up and because i am not 18 and she is i cant stop her because she keeps saying its out of my best interest when she is doing the same thing sometimes i am 15 and she treats me like im 5 and i cant make her stop because she will just tell me i cant get on here anymore.. i know she is watching my back but she will not stop and just let me learn... its always the same excuse that she had to learn the hard way and she just trying to watch out for me but why does she think everyone is going to have the same result as her i dont get it.. someone know?

Haha thats how older sisters/brothers are... they suck but she does love you and she is just trying to watch out for you. Alot of bad things happen to people on the internet and you are only 15. You have so much things to do then to worry about having a boyfriend. Try to show her that you can earn her trust and that you are being smart and picking wisely. Don't go meet just anyone off here. Get to know them. And then decide if you like them. Hang out with them a few times. Talk to your sister and tell her to work with you a little.

Some lessons are better learned later in life than just 15 son, Trust your sister. The last thing you need is the kind of unpleasantness you will attract over the Internet.

She just cares about you. Some really bad things have happened to people that talked on the internet. You have to realize that anyone can make anything to get what they want. Someone you are talking to can sound great but be pedophiles or killers. Make a promise that you want give out important information or ever try to meet these people online.

Your sister only has your best interest in mind. But, or course, you won't realize this until you are much older. There are a lot of adult gay men who would love to meet you on line and "turn you out" and have their way with you. A lot of men would want to take advantage of you because you are so young. She knows this, and doesn't want you to get yourself in a situation that you may later regret. You are lucky to have a big sister that cares so much. I hope she continues to care for you because you need her guidence.

Maybe she doesn't approve of you being gay. And if you have to date in the real world it will change your mind. Or maybe she doesn't want you to get hurt.

your sister is just trying to look out for but maybe she shouldnt try so hard... maybe she should let you figure out things on your own.
