If you've already been stratching it, get a cotton ball or just splash some rubbing alcohol on it. It may sting a little but it will surely stop itching. I use to do that alot when I was a kid.

Dab some anti-itch medicine on it, or just put a cold compress on it. Some people say vinegar helps. Just try not to itch it, it will become a cycle that's hard to stop. Think of other things to keep you busy so you won't be tempted to scratch or keep a band-aid on it til it's gone (that will remind you not to itch it), you don't want a scar either.

Mix a paste of meat tenderizer and water, then apply to the bite. It works for me every time!!
