"Supposed" Atheists? Why would you have doubt that someone could be capable of thinking in a sane and logical manner? I wonder if there were Romans praying to their mythological Gods asking for Jupiter to forgive those who did not believe. That would seem pretty silly nowadays, wouldn't it?
And for the record, which mythological god do you believe in? Is it the Lutheran version, the Catholic, the Baptist, the Mormon- or no- is it the Jewish one- or maybe the Shiite Muslim one, or the Sunni one- or maybe the Buddhist ones? Or maybe you are a believer in the Mayan Sun God? Do I need to continue with this list?

Just because someone says the words, it doesn't make them a believer. This kind of thing gives Christians a bad name.

No, I won't.
What ridiculous tactics. Go back to your impure thoughts about Patrick Swayze and Road House 2.

I invite you to pray to make me a believer. I wholeheartedly invite you to do so. However, if your prayer does nothing, will that be enough to make you consider that maybe prayer doesn't work at all?

Wait-- hold it --I feel--- the pull-- it's--my brain--telling me--I can think for myself, thank you very much. Sorry was raised in the Roman Catholic so-called church, and I'll stay away from any form of christianity. Maybe you can go pray for someone who actually wants it?

You are right, I said your prayer and now I believe. Years of education and rational thinking left me in that moment.
But really, thanks for the thought, but I don't need your prayers.
