need a hack for dvd player Toshiba SD-260E?

I have the same series of DVD player and bought a disc to make it play DVD's from other regions and it didn't work.
I asked around and was told it needs to be rechiped, I had some many problems with mine it was return to the store and replaced then sent back to toshiba I had 3 before I go one that works half way.

i would check with the dealer you got it from.
