There's NEPTUNE'S COVE on 4020 Finch Ave. East., Scarborough ON.
416 221-7766. They are at Kennedy and Finch (NE corner).
They used to be at Bayview Village Shopping Centre long time ago and they did well there. Us Torontonians also know that Bayview Village Shopping Centre is a very nice upscale mall. Not sure about the prices at Neptune's but then again, it's YOUR mom's 55 Birthday. Treat her well.

I recommmend Joso's which is located on the north side of Davenport, just a few steps east of Avenue Road. This is different and so much better than those assembly-line places like Red Lobster.

there's a greek restaurant named Acadia in warden/eglinton. it's not a seafood restaurant but they have grill squid and a whole red snapper (not just fillet) - perfect for seafood lover.
you may also go to portuguese for their seafood platter and big shrimp - Piri Piri in Lansdowne and Devonport - these two are our favourite.

Try this one. It is very friendly environment. they have very nice and fine sea food(but not expensive), nice Italian pasta with sea food and pizza.
