I'm a Christian and I put no limits on God. There may be many other worlds but this is where He put me. The rest is none of my business. I personally think there is. Maybe they are closer to God than we are. Who knows?

Intelligence can only go as far as it's food chain will reach. So, are there carnivores elsewhere in the universe? If not, then for every intelligent form, there would have to be a whole lot more cabbages, or mushrooms, or plankton. And all of the semi-intelligent life forms in our food chain are carnivores. Unless you consider a sheep smarter than a wolf, etc.
The Christians would eat the extra terrestrial sheep, just like the wolves.
The extra-terrestrial pagans and atheist, being more altruistic, would eat the cabbages, and mushrooms, etc.
So sure, it's acceptable, just not very realistic...

I don't know about "acceptable", but this Christian believes there is life elsewhere in the universe. The universe is a big place, and I think it's pretty arrogant to believe that God created us and only us.

Yes you can believe that but I believe that if there were intelligent life existing somewhere else then they would have show up here on earth looking for the Savior. Remember Jesus is the Savior of the world so that would include the universe as well.

As far as I know, this has not been addressed. However, the passage where Christ said, "Other sheep have I, who are not of this fold", might refer to this.

I do think that the Star Trek "Prime Directive" is important here, in the sense that other intelligent beings might or might not have fallen as a race like we have, and we could mess up God's plan for them.

I tend to disagree with many fundamentalists who assume that the earth is the center of the universe. But since the stars were created as lights for us, I might be incorrect.

i'm an atheist. i don't have a theory one way or the different. it form of feels attainable clever existence varieties exist on different planets, even in all risk once you calculate the form of planets in the universe and extrapolate from worry-free planet shape how lots of those could have acceptable circumstances. yet in basic terms with the aid of fact some thing is attainable, or maybe in all risk, does no longer advise that there is this form of element. i could say that I settle for the possibility, yet have not any reason to have self assurance, or disbelieve, the reality. Please word that this is acceptable to theoretical beings, no longer Arizona anal probe memories. And, as a part word, could desire to qualify "someplace else in the universe" as being area, for the time of my residing room is "someplace else in the universe" than my physique's region.

If You are a true Christian you should Know that intelligent life does exist out there. Lucifer is the morning star, and he is in charge of 1/3 of the fallen angels. Demons and devils have been described by numerous accounts of abductions. Why is it so hard to beleive Satan has the power and technology to make ufo's. In order for you to belive you need to read more on God's supernatural strength, God is a Spirit. He made man in his image out of the dust, he gave us breathe with his Spirit. This
was after Lucifer fell and took 1/3 with him. Any thing that takes our focus off God Lucifer wins. But God sent Jesus to tell us the truth about Satan and his Demons who make ufo's and torture humans so people are focused on ufo's instead of God.
Psalms is the best at describing Gods spirit. Job is the best at describing Satans power that GOD gives.
Hope this helps.
GOD LOVES US!!

You would really need to ask the Lord for His opinion, but I personally see no evidence of other kinds of alien/intelligent life out there. In fact, when I first got saved, it was one thing that got put to rest in my heart. I have no doubt that there are no intelligent life forms out there other than us humanoids.

If your belief of other intelligent life is distracting you from your relationship with Jesus or you are pursuing it more than you pursue God, then I would say you have a problem.

I don't know, but it's pretty arrogant to think we're the only intelligent life form in the universe. I mean, if you've got an entire universe to work with, why create life on only one little rock in it??

As matter in fact we do believe there is life out there. God made more than one world.
it would be a pretty lonely place if we are the only intelligent life around.
