Yes lots of ppl jump right when they start to fall asleep. Did you know that right before you get in an REM sleep, your first dream is always of you either falling, tripping, jumping, etc...and thats what makes you twitch real hard right when you're about to fall asleep (even if you don't remember the dream). Me and my husband do it ALL the time. Sometimes several times. Nothing is wrong with you.

Yes, it's called a muscle tic. It's actually a spasm. It's annoying, but it should go away. I think it's related to a vitamin imbalance, but I'm not sure which one. To others: Should she try potassium?

I don't think you have tourettes. You aren't describing the symptoms of anything that serious.
