My sister is deeply ofended because I did not ask her husband to be an attendant. I have asked both my sisters to stand up for me and we have asked my brother to stand up for my fiancee. Did I make a mistake by not asking him?

This is really up to you. You are the bride after all. I had my sister and just one sister-in-law in it. It wasn't anything against her either, I really like her but I could only have so many people and I had other people I wanted up there. Was there a reason?
Talk with your sister and tell her you love her but it is your wedding and then give the reason. I hope everything works out. Don't get to stressed out over it.

No, but I can see where your sister is upset. I think she is worried because the other siblings that will be up there at the head table and up front at the ceremony and her husband will be left out. Besides, it should have been your husband's decision, not yours. Maybe you can put some of the blame there? Unless you truly did make the call all by yourself. If you did, that is another issue all by itself. Your husband should have had some say in his own groomsmen.

You can't spare all feelings in a wedding. But, you can make him feel included. Let him ride in the limo with wedding party from the reception to the rehearsal. Ask him to read a prayer at the wedding. There are ways to include him without putting him in the wedding party,

It's pretty ridiculous that your sister is deeply offended, but it would obviously be nice to include him. My wife's brothers had me participate in their weddings as a groomsman and usher back when I was still just the boyfriend; it really made me feel like a part of the family. Do you still have time to ask him to be an usher?

Absolutely not. You sister is wrong and very immature for even voicing an opinion in this matter. My brother got married and I wasn't asked to be in his wedding even though my dad and other brother were. This past weekend my best friends brother got married and everybody but my best friend was in it. It is your day and you should have who you want standing up there with you. Tell your sister that you love her very much but this is your wedding and not hers and you will decide who will and will not be in it. I bet if the shoe was on the other foot she would feel the same way.

Absolutely not! I know this is hard to remember but this is your wedding and your day! I am getting married in sept and i was having hte same problems, I understand what you are going though. But you cant ask everybody to be in it. I know its hard, I tried to find a place for everyone and I wasnt able to. I was so worried about it but it turns out no one was insulted! If someone gets upset about this then you wouldnt want them to be in your wedding anyways. Your sister needs to realize this is your day and your wedding!! I would just let it go for now and she will get over it.
Congradulations to you!! I wish you the best of luck!

It's actually not even up to you who the groomsmen are, it's up to the groom. That was nice of him to include your brother, but he doesn't have to include your brother-in-law. He probably has close friends that he would like to include. Your sister should understand that this day is not about her, since she has all ready been married.

For one thing, the groom picks the groomsmen. It's not up to you. And, yes, what AmyClay said.
Congrats!

No way. It's totally your decision and if your sister is upset about it then it is her problem.
