Well, we've all been educated by the interesting info given by Made_in_America, and so now we know what hadenough has been watching...PODS in space alien movies; that explains her fascination with illegal alien invasion terminology used by her and the anti camp....trouble with hadenough is she is not being fair; she thinks the anti-illegal pods are invisible, you never read any of her posts putting them in their place. Why do you suppose that is?

They are afraid of you is why you have managed to become the infamous Pancha! There's an imposter behind every ID who is not anti, except the imposter Kubrickian, who is one of the anti's own. Hadenough has a relationship going with this one, just read her posts. What a hoot... You really get their goat!

Stay cyberstrong, chuckle, chuckle..

I believe the word "pod" is from an old movie called, "Invasion of the Pods" or something like that. The theme of the movie is people are replicated in these pods and, when the pod matures, the original person dies and the new person emerges. The only difference between the old person and the new person is that the new person has no emotions. A person cannot be replicated unless they fall asleep.

I believe that is the origin of "Pod" in this forum.

I don't know, I thought it meant Point of Departure, a deportation thing.

Invasion of the pods - you mean Invasion of the Body Snatchers?

Nothing was ever so scary as The Blob.

I would have to admit without useful comment that you are the most popular woman for some reason here.

A pod in from the movie Invasion of the body snatchers, a good example of a Pod is Scott Peterson, no emotion or empathy for other people, he is truly a pod. In the movie a person puts a pod in your area and when you fall asleep the pod becomes the exact replica of that person, only with no feelings. Its a good movie watch it sometime.
