details are as follows,
What is considered too old when the female is in college and her friends are from 19 -29... Male and female friends. All of her friends thinks shes cool and worth hanging out with. Should she date any of the dudes if he were to ask her and, what age should be the cutoff age?

What are the taboos?

I see no problem with younger men dating older women. I speak from experience as I have 3 times in my life, twice with the same woman. It's no different than a older man with a younger woman

It's not so much age than it is about maturity. Guys don't tend to mature as quickly as females. So for example, a 29-year old female dating a 19-year old college male may not work out if the female is working on a career and the male still wants to do beer bongs. On the other hand, if the 19-year old male is in college and working and responsible, then I could see the two working out.

There is no cut off age. Obviously the older the more taboo it gets. This is how a guy would see things (women would have a different mentality):
The girl is older by these years:
1-2 = doesn't raise much of an eyebrow
3 = raises slight eyebrow, but nothing to fret about
4-5= Wow, I guess he's into older women, and he must be a catch.
6-8= Whoa, what is going on here? The guy is probably experimenting. What will it be like when she's 40 and he's 34 (and so on)? How long will this last? This must be a short-term thing.
9+= Okay, there has to be money involved. He's her boy-toy. He needs a sugar mama.

So this "scale" definitely applies to 20s and 30s. I don't see it apply when both partners are in their 40s and beyond. I hope this gives your "friend" a better idea.

well, id like to know your age before setting a hard and fast cutoff age, but as a general rule once you get more than a 5 yr difference, there is some issues of being in different phases of life, differences that you may or may not be able to overcome.......my advice would be to take it on a case-by-case basis

As others mentioned, anyone 18 and up is legal at least.

My opinion of older females dating younger guys is that they are trying to recapture their youth. My opinion of younger guys dating older females is that they think the older females are more experienced (that's not even always the case).

ok date people who are at least ur age or 3 years older. 19 is ok but guys try to have sex 1 way or the other. I think this girl is trying to be a hooker or trying to get attention in her popularity. I guess she could date them but are they cute? Dats the question?

Bring 'em on!

But, I think people should be realistic and not date (or only date)because of the age difference. People are more than just their age...

You shouldn't date anybody under the age of 21. Besides that... I think you're good to go with whomever you like.

i think girls dating younger guys is fine, and it's not really the age in numbers that i think matters as much as just how mature they are. and the older you are, the less the difference matters

18 is the youngest age to date either gender. Otherwise anything goes.
