God took three forms, he the figure head and creator of all. JesUs (please use spell check if you are unsure of a spelling) was God personified, the holy spirit to reside in us all.
God sent his son Jesus to die for our sins so that we may have eternal life. He sent them so that Jesus could show others how it should be done. Granted, God said he is a vain and jealous God, worship no others but me. Well.....I say fair enough, afterall, God made us, he can take us out too!
After seeing some of the answers to your question (the negative ones that is) it seems it was a wasted effort. However the positive answers give me hope.
If the trinity is to difficult to grasp, the way I finally understood it was that I'm a daughter to my mother, a mother to my daughter and a wife to my husband. I am 3 different entities, yet I am one person.
Hope that helps.

He, himself, was not and is not God and one of the reasons he prayed to God in front of people was to show that he was NOT God but that God was his head just as a man is the head of his wife (1 Corinthians 11:3). The Bible says that Jesus is one with God in that he and God have the same purpose and they are always in complete harmony (John 8:28, 29). Both God and Jesus claim to be Father and Son and any more than that is a man made claim.

Jesus is just an ordinary guy who deeply believed in god and thought that if he believed so much he could become the son of god. He is a man who sacrificed his life for his people. Only the people of his country. He wanted to be King, but they didn't want him. He was saving them.
What is all this stuff about all of us? He was only helping Jews.

God is the creator, He is first. Jesus was obeying His Father. If you dont understand something, it's because you are not spritually mature enough to understand it. If you do not believe in God and trust in Him, how can you expect God to tell you more, since you can't handle who He is or who His son praises Him?

Because God is triune. That means that He is one Godhead, and three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Christians are not polytheists, but I'll admit the idea of the trinity is confusing.

Jesus prayed to the Father, the first person of the Trinity. Jesus, in his earthly ministry, was the physical incarnation of God on earth.

Jesus glorified the Father, who sent Him out of love for us, in all ways. Our purpose is also to bring glory to the Father. For us, the only way is faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
To speak with God through prayer is important -- shown to us by Jesus. Even when Jesus was troubled by his forthcoming murder, and asked the Father to take it from Him, He humbled himself and obeyed the Father to do the Father's will. This is a beautiful example we, the faithful, ought to use in our own lives.
