Of course. Lots of Spanish catholics name their sons Jesus, and there are many Jewish Mary's. I actually plan to name my daughter Mary (if I ever have one).

Why couldn't they? Though if a Jew were to stick with the closest translation of Jesus' name it would most likely be Yahshua (or Joshua) instead of Jesus. And Mary is Mariam. I'm sure plenty of jewish girls are named that.

Isa is the word for Jesus (PBUH) in Arabic and Mariam is Arabic translation of Marry. There will be hundrends of thousands people with these names in Muslims societies.

Well, Jesus is a Greek name, so likely not.

I have known a Jew named Yeshe, which is a version of Joshua, which was also the man we know as Jesus' name.
