I have this rele big party comming up and I want to lose some weight......

there are no GOOD FAST WEIGHT LOSSES! everything that is done well takes time. and the only way u could lose weight fast is if u starve urself, but u said good so here's what u can do.
Eat ONLY when you're hungry.
try eating about 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
no sweets/ junk food.
cut out soda.
Drink lots of water, tea (splenda to sweeten it). no juice.
eat lots of fruit and vegetables.
if u have a jump rope, try doing 500 jumps a day.
if u have a tredmill, walk for 25 mins n run for 5. u dont have to run all at once, u can walk for a few mins then run for one min then walk, run, walk, etc.
do about 50-100 sit ups a day. stretch before you workout. if you have stairs, run up and down them as many times as you can. you need to burn more calories a day than you eat. you are always burning calories throughout the day, but if u workout, you will burn A LOT more and you will build muscle. building muscle is good because it burns more calories which makes ur fat go poof! Unless this party is at least 6 weeks away, it is unlikely there is a GOOD way to lose a significant amount of weight. Sorry, but the only healthy way to lose weight is gradually & consistently.

There are several unhealthy ways I know people have tried to lose weight, but I refuse to mention them because I have seen firsthand the harm they have done to people I care about.

Take a lesson from Miss Universe - do you want to pass out 40 minutes after the party begins? Then please don't do anything foolish! Just enjoy the party and don't let what the scale says ruin it for you!

I've lost 18 pounds in four weeks:
Cut out the junk & soda
Eat salads (goooood salads with chicken or tuna or shrimp, and lotsa different veggies in them)
Then eat some more salads
When you're done with that
Eat some more salads
Start riding a bike
Don't eat late at night
Slow way down on carbs (for a while)
Don't eat that cake!
Step away!!
Cheat a little.
I SAID A LITTLE!!!
Snack on celery, carrots, apples, etc.
JUST EAT GOOD!
Count your calories
3500 calories equals 1 pound

If the party is this weekend, you can find a temp fix in a healthfood store or GNC. Some bodybuilders will severly dehydrate themselves tm make muscles look bigger. You'll pee all night and run the risk of passing out from lack of fluid, but you'll look a little slimmer. After the party, start on the "reduce intake, increase movement" option posted earlier.
Better yet, just wear flattering garments to the party and skip the dehydrating junk altogether.

for me. my g/f is having pool party in 7 weeks. i 45 pounds over!!
i made my own exercise program:

1). go to sleep 12:00am
2). wake up 8:00am
3). walk 3-mph for 2.5 hrs (8-10:30)
4). go home and sit ( eat cereal ) (10:30 - 12:30 )
5). jog for 30 min (12:30 - 1:00 )
6). go home and sit ( eat sandwich ) ( 1:00 - 3:00 )
7). walk 3-mph for 2.5 hrs ( 3:00 - 5:30 )
8). do what u want till u go to bed ( dinner is low calorie )
9). through out the day consume about 1200 calories
10). follow this every day for 7 weeks and i gurantee, u will lose 40 pounds

The bed times are of course for me. but make sure u sleep for 8 hrs.

This always works for me....eat a good breakfast, but sensible, lunch, and very small dinner. Drink lots of water and no sodas! Exercise as much as you can. Walking helps your entire body. If you have an elevator at work or home, take the stairs! Good Luck!

skip all processed foods no dairy no alsohol no sugar no bread cereal etc. eat only veggies lean meat eggs etc at least 10-12 glasses of water a day and do cardio exercise for at least 20 min everyday. you can't do this forever but it will help you lose weight quickly
