I was working out my abdominal muscles then my abs cramp up as if my stomach been pushed in. what should i do to minimized cramps

Keep working on them! The more you strengthen the muscles the less it will hurt when you work on them. Just take breaks every so often. The cause of cramps could also be because you drink too much right before working out, you need to hydrate by drinking alot throughout the day, and then when your actually working out just have a sip every here and there. Your abs are like a hinge, so in order to cut down on the cramps, don't overdo the workout. 25-30 with legs down, the same with legs elevated, and then obliques, and only 3 or 4 times a week. this should suffice.

The more you do this exercises the more your body gets used to them. No worry as time goes by the cramps will go away. Hopefully :)

Taking potassium and creatine will help with the cramping and soreness a lot.

Try stretching before you exercise.

try to slowdown and do little at a time then when u think you could increase then do so
