I've noticed in the personals profiles, at various sites; that 99.9 % of single females Talk the talk, but contradict themselves in their own "matching parameters". Do they know that they are doing this, or perhaps they just haven't "got around to updating" their profile data.
Once you get the man that you think you want. Will he still want you, when he discovers that you were only attracted to him for what he was worth fiscally to you?

I think a lot of them don't even realise that money should not even come into the equation, which is sad. Also, a lot of ppl in personal ads type out the "perfect" match for them, but I think we all know love isn't like that. One of my friends used to actually have prerequisites for a guy like "he can't come from a broken home" and "he can't have a history of heart disease" etc. She soon learned that these things mean nothing when you fall in love. With women, I think a lot of us find it hard to make a proper living and we want that security with a guy.

The only thing women want from men is a smattering of genetic material and a means of support while they raise spawn. Sometimes during the process, some actually become attached to the men and a comfortable mutual accommodation is reached. These are called "good marriages" as opposed to tossing the male out once the gravy train is securely hooked up. Many of these women go one step further and punish the man for having the audacity to fall in love with them. To be fair, men can be rats also, but the question was gender specific.

Most women probably don't realize they do this. As it is put into our subconscious mind, that a man is to provide and support a woman. Women are programed at an early age what to expect from a man. Woman expect men to already know this part (money is the soul of who you are and if you can't provide for me then you're not the soul I'm looking for) and this gets us into trouble because the man only figures this out down the road- if we were up front with our need for finical support then the man might be willing to stay with us. Sorry the personal ads didn't do it for you, but you also can see that men lie in those ads too.

As far as your question goes, hypocrites are hypocrites, male or female. Why do some people say they want love and really want sex? Why do some people say they want low-carb crackers and really want a hot fudge sundae? Why do some people seem quiet and keep to themselves while storing severed heads in the freezer? ( I suggest you ask "freki n geri" that one.)
If someone contradicts themselves in their own personal ad, STOP READING IT and move on; unless, of course, you're looking for an immature, self-centered liar.

Ok, this question streses me out. All of us aren't like that. There are guys that we aren't that serious about and we prefer for them to have money and looks. I seem to think that guys are pretty much the same. You guys want someone to "take care of you", so do we. When we get married, we still want to be taken care of, just money doesn't cover what we need.
When we are looking for a mate, money doesn't matter a bunch.

I for one, don't believe that money makes you happy. I would never go for someone just on that, but to be honest, don't want a dead beat either. I won't say it doesn't matter because it does but I would stay by myself rather than marry for money alone.
