2 bottles of beer and add a couple more cups of water
Lots of Salt--very important!
Lots of Pickling Spice
Lots of Old Bay
Lots of Garlic Powder
2 large lemons squeezed into the pot and then add the rest of the lemon to cook with the shrimp.
Bring the pot to a boil, drop shrimp in, cook 2-4 minutes, remove from pot into strainer in the sink, throw a bunch of ice on them to quickly stop the cooking process. Serve w/ cocktail and/or melted butter and a cold beer. AWESOME!
Great boil to use for crab legs and crawfish, also!

Yes, I just made an awesome shrimp and shallots pasta with a lemon-butter-garlic sauce, it was YUMMYY:
1 pound of shrimp
1 pund of scallops
1/4 cup of olive oil
3/4 cup of butter
1 bulb of garlic - minced
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 pinches of flour (for thickening - last thing you add)
1 package of linguiny pasta
Obviously boil your pasta, set aside. You want to start off with olive oil in a hot pan once hot add the garlic saute for a minture or two to bring out the flavor, then add the butter, once melted add the lemon juice, and then add shrimp and shallots heat to a boil sitring occassionally, then reduce heat to about medium low and cook until shrimp are cooked. Then add the flour and stir. And finally add the sauce with shrimp and shallots to teh pasta mix well and there you have it! I served it with salad and garlic bread. It was my brother's birthday dinner and he loved it.
Hope it works for you. Good luck and have fun!

Get a pound of headless tiger prawns, wash, drain them. Put some oil and butter on a skillet and when it's hot, put the prawns in and stir fry. Add in sugar, salt, pepper, some catsup and after about 5 -10 minutes add in about 1-2 tablespoons of water then simmer for another 2-3 minutes and you're done..., you can serve. Tabasco is optional while cooking.
