For whatever reason it is called Gibraltar Point it isnt because the longitude is similar (unless the early navigators were way off base) Norfolk is to the East of the Prime Meridien, Gibralter to the West, depending on where they lie, somewhere between 5 & 6 degrees of Longitude separate them.

I was told many years ago it was because it is on a line on the map in line with Gibraltar but never seen it written anywhere to prove/disprove. I remember when I was a child, a day trip to Skegness always ended with a walk in the dunes there with my parents....those were the days........
