is religion antiquated, outmoded, obsolete? This is the modern age, knowledge is attainable at a press of buttons. But why hasn't man been successful in the social norms and man made laws he devised, developed and corrupted for his own ultimate goals? Society without religion is more chaotic than those who have religious practices. Wars? Even without religion, man has been in conflict against each other, preferring to promote his own man made laws. If there is no standardization, there will be always chaos. The non religion practicing heads of clans, tribes, societies wage war, then they manipulate religious groups to fight for them then call it a religious war.How ironic?
Even if a religion is not perfect, it still have a beneficial effect to mankind. A firm law and guidance that don't change for reasons man wish to alter for his indulgence.
As one saying goes,"Even if there is no God, man have to invent one."

Not Religion dear, but Faith and Sprituality. The biggest problem is that no one is allowed to be themselves anymore...we are so afraid of offending someone that we forget that we are just as important as the other guy...

I disagree. Saying that Society with religion is LESS chaotic than those with religious practices is CRAPPPPP!
Do you KNOW how many people on this planet DIE every day over trivial 'Religious' beliefs?
Where does THIER 'Thou shalt not kill' attitude lie within those religious practices?
Would their Soverign Deity permit it? Some of them DO. This has happened throughout the world's history in many religions to include Christianity. And for the record, men made LAWS in the USA so that anyone could freely practice whatever religion we choose (these laws also include affecting the Death Penalty and Prison to those who deserve it; does NOT include blowing up humanity in the name of one's 'religious' Soverign Deity).

It seems that all the wars and conflicts that have happened on Earth in the last 2000 years, were done "in the name of God", of Allah, etc.

You people need to stop it.

When people learn that all religions are basically saying the same thing, when trust replaces fear, understanding replaces ignorance and when people learn that two wrongs don't make a right. Then there will be peace.
