Any of the Nikon coolpixs are good.. they come in various megapixels, etc and have a wide range of prices. They're easy to use and still offer all of the features you'd want in a digital camera.

DO NOT buy an Kodak Easyshare. Everyone that I know of that has one broke. It just stopped turning on.
