My best friend is turning 21 on Saturday and I really want to do something more than just go bar hopping... Because when I turned 21... Let's just say it was a horrible night... But anyway, i was wondering if anyone had any good ideas... ????

Invite some friends over for a poker night. Get tons of chips from the dollar store and give them outrageous amounts. You can also get 'Texas Hold'em for Dummies' cards w/ instructions and hints printed right on the cards. Have beer - domestic and imports for fun - and wine, along w/ lots of finger food snacks.

Get an intimate group of friends together - go to a resto or a bar or a disco. If your friend doesn't like those things, throw a party at her/his house or your house as a surprise - just invite those who matter to your friend. Then during the course of the evening, let everyone say something nice about him/her, thank him/her for being such a great person, blah blah blah..... good food, wine, good music - good luck.

buy a kiddie pool and have everyone bring over a 6 pack of good beer and put them into the pool for a import party
