I guess I really should think about my wording more...OK I don't hate THEM...I hate their BEHAVIOR!!!
Also I do NOT dislike ALL Christians!! Just the ones that act all high & mighty....When we should all try to be humble, OK???

I see what you are saying about some of the things done, but aren't you now doing the same thing? Also, a Christian doesn't HATE other Christians, because then they are not Christians. A Christian is one who has been save by Christ Jesus and strives to be like Christ (hence the word Christian meaning Christ like) Do you think Jesus HATED? No he loved and tried to help and serve others. He who is creator, came as a poor servant.

Also, if you think people feel guilty for things like abortions because a Christian points it out as wrong, maybe you are offended because you know they are correct and you don't want to admit that.

I know, you now class me with those you hate, that's to bad, go back and really read your Bible and ask God to show you truth.

I know what you mean.
I won't use the word "hate" but I feel your anger.
I am not fond of the "Fanatics" either who usually manage to push people away from Christ rather than bring them in.

And the TV evangelists. Some I like and some I am appalled by.
Especially those who keep screaming "Repent!! Repeeeeent!!!!"
They give other Christians a bad name.

Oh and just a note, those who say "If you hate then you're not Christian" are wrong. Don't listen to them. Being Christian is saying "I'm not perfect but God loves me anyways." You are Christian whether you hate or not.
Just don't be happy about hating others because that's not what the Bible teaches. Always good to pray about these things.

Sure. I was a minister in an extremely conservative Christian group, and as I got sane and my theology got more liberal, I had to leave. Couldn't deal with the fundamentalism and exclusivism anymore. Most conservative Christians bother me -- but not all. It really depends on their personality. I know Baptists in the NC mountains who are salt of the earth. We may disagree about a lot of things, but we're together on what's important, and we both know it.

But I can't let you off the hook about abortion! I have given this issue *a lot* of thought... and even though I'm a crazy liberal, I'm still pro-life. Give me an open-minded person, Christian or not -- I can give convincing arguments against abortion from a completely non-religious perspective. You should really think through that one! I would never DREAM of making anyone feel guilty about it though, especially after the fact. Truth is, after the fact people are usually hurting so much they need nothing but a shoulder to cry on. AND I think people who are pro-life should be supporting mothers who need their help, not picketing abortion clinincs. But this is all just my two cents.

Christ was and is perfect. Christians are not. The two tools of Christianity are truth and love. It's our responsibility to carry both to the world. God loves sinners but hates sin. Christians often confuse the two. Really, you shouldn't hate anyone, but rather hate the actions of others and stand for the truth of God's Word which pronounces many of culture's activities to be sin, such as abortion, homosexuality, etc. But you also stand for love, which reaches out to everyone. If you're a Christian, then the "love of Christ" is in you.

Well then you arent Christian then, you are more likely deemed a "child of God" You dont have to be christian to believe in God and be saved, Religious structures, especially christianity is man made, it changes over time, but with regards to the main principles, which can be found in every organized religion. Just be true to what you know, be honest, dont murder or impede on other people, and respect everyone even if you dont like them. Its not ok to hate in my eyes because Jesus only wanted to spread love. Dont let religious zealots taint your faith. But I agree with you.

I think that telling people abortion is wrong isn't a bad thing, bc it's true. God commands us to spread His Word and defend it. Instructing ppl on why their current way of living isn't healthy is good, to not to do so would be wrong. Would you not tell someone who's walking toward a cliff about their danger? Telling ppl that sinning is wrong and not good for them isn't bad, it's being a good Christian. If they don't want the help, that's their problem, Christians have a duty to try their best to bring ppl to Christ and teach them to follow God and His Law. I agree that we shouldn't hate others, Jesus commands us to love them, however, we should hate their sin, as it's against God's will and is harmful to them. i.e., abortion is murder, the person is killing a child growing inside them, letting ppl know that isn't wrong, it's making them aware of the consequences of their actions.

I think this is a trick question. You hate christians for hating christians. Are you sure your not an atheist in christian clothing? Why not be the example and Not Hate? Lets all stop spewing.

I feel the same way, sort off (I really can't hate anyone). And I also feel sorry for those who learn the Bible by heart so that they can feel superior but in reality never feel the existance of the Lord, never have moments of grace and make you feel like a sinner when they shouldn't do that... Where's the innocence and the love for your fellow person, that Jesus taught us about, in that? There are a lot of fake people in this world...

There are a lot of people like this that I know (not friend wise). But I do hate people that use there religion as excuses, making them feel like they are worth more than other people, ext. I think what they really do is grow up and get a life. We all have our beliefs and until this individuals relive that this problem will never end. Yes I hate people like that and I always will.

As a Christian it's not our job to hate. The only thing that we should hate is sin. As for the people that you have trouble tolerating, just pray about it and leave it all up to GOD to handle. If you use this aproach in all your situations you will be amazed at the results you get.
