DON'T use mayo.. It ill just make your hair greasy and make it seem more smooth...A hot oil treatment will fix it dramaticly, you can get VO5 hot oil at wall mart for 1.50, Then if you get this conditioning mask called Aussie 3 Minute Miracle, Its works wonders.. Its about 3 dollars, you can get it at wall mart as well..Try a good shampoo also Redkin Clear Moisture works really really well, it's a little more expensive but its way worth it because it makes your hair look and feel really pretty. If you did all this together your hair will be looking great in no time!

Go and get a hair cut to get rid of the split ends. Make sure that you are using a very high quality shampoo and conditioner. You can do mayo treatments or try warming some olive oil in the microwave and coming it all through your hair wrap some plastic wrap around your hair and a towel and go to sleep with the oil on your hair--then wash your hair in the morning with shampoo mixed with about a tablespoon of baking soda--It will help remove the oil from your hair without damaging it. You may have to wash it a couple of times to get all the oil out but your hair will feel and look much better

reedken has a new line. its summer a lot of salons have sales now on liters. try i think its called sleek. read the back of the bottle to be sure the packaging is orange green and pink 3 different kinds in the line. its worth the money to get it until your hair grows out. and you can cut the old bad stuff out. good luck! or try the mayo thing but I think in the end its gonna cause more damage. Sally's has a Hawaiian like oil in the ethnic section. but that also in the end might cause more problems.

No, hot oil treatment is just temporary. Why don't you go with natural cure this time? Buy 1 pound fully riped Papaya and crush it to paste and add few drops of conditioner you use and apply on your hair. Leave it to work for at least 2 hours minimum. The see how did it go.
Good Luck!

put some Almond oil on your hands and smooth over it.
It will give it some shine.
Get it at health food store and beauty sections, also they sell oils like Wonder oil etc. in the African American hair section.
