That depends. Is the 2 year old's name Dameon and does it's head spin around and spit green stuff?
What I mean is it depends on the kid and where you are. I would say 4 or 5 bucks an hour should do it unless it is a day care and they have set rates.

My son is 2. I've never hired a babysitter but I'd probably pay 10-15 an hour because 2 year olds need a lot of supervised attention.

I haven't babysat in a few years, but I used to get paid $5-7/hr for more than one kid, so I guess it depends on how much attention your 2 yr old really needs and also who you ask to babysit. Some people might want a certain amount. I would say $5-6/hr is appropriate. I used to babysit not even really for the money, but I loved playing with the kids and then getting paid for it was like a bonus.

$10.00/hour, add $1.00 an hour if the child is sick.
You may want to tip more if you asked the sitter to come by on short notice, you will only be gone for a hour or two, if your house is unusually messy, if it's a holiday or any "unusual circumstance".

About $5, unless they are CPR certified, and then more like $10!
