it could just be the way that your hair is making more oil because of hormones. i know some people who wash their hair everyday and it is very greasy by the end- and other people who wash it every other day with no sign of grease. my best advice is for you not to put any kind of product in it (if you do) for a week or two and see if that helps. otherwise their is not much to do except keep washing it and find a shampoo and conditioner made for your specific hair type. good luck!!

Are you trying to grow your hair by washing it everyday..that really does work. The best shampoo to use is Creme of Nature. That cleanses your hair really good without taking out your hair's natural oils that you need and it has a conditioner in it so you won't have to condition. That should help with the grease. You can pick some up at Sally's Beauty Supply.

Your hair type may be oily. Get a shampoo that is designed for oily hair. Since you don't mention what type of your hair is, I would assume you also use hair pomade or hairy styling gels on a daily basis. These products can really aggravate your hair greasiness at the end of day. Just get your hair washed once home to degrease it. Increase the frequency of washing your hair is also helpful.

I'm sure you are wondering why your hair is GREASY (not 'grease'...).

Oh, and another thing...

USE PUNCTUATION!

Look, I'll give you an example:

"How come my hair looks so greasy by the end of the day?"

It's a question - put a question mark at the end of it!!

"I wash it every day." Is not a question, but rather a statement, and should be a seperate sentence.

I suppose you could make the whole thought into one sentence thusly:

"Although I wash my hair every day, how come it looks greasy by the end of the day?"

Have they stopped teaching spelling and grammar in school???

You just have a really greasy kind of hair. I do too. I advise washing our hair everyday with a frequent use shampoo. Whilst washing dont concentrate on the scalp area just the area away from the scalp- it helps to not add oil to your scalp which makes it look greasy. Also use a shampoo specially designed for greasy hair. Gd luk!

I have heard that you should only wash your hair every other day...if you wash it everyday, the oils from the shampoo build up causing your hair to become greasier.

i mean you can still shower and everything lol....but just wash your hair every other day. i use this method cuz my hair used to do the same thing by the end of everyday...so i started washing it every other day and my hair feels and looks a lot healthier.

Excessive washing or brushing your hair can stimulate your oil production. Is there a fan blowing on your hair all day?

Use a shampoo specifically for oily hair and avoid creme rinses. Don't use hot water just warm to wash and cold to rinse. If you are using after washing products like mousse or gel make sure they are oil free.

It can be a genetic problem. But try switching some shampoos. Usually if you use one brand of shampoo for awhile your hair gets used to it, so try another one (I know it sounds weird but it worked for me)

Also, if you brush your hair alot it greases up your hair. The more you pull on it or brush it it causes grease to secrete onto your hair.. so try not to mess with your hair alot as well.

OK you got alot of answers. but here it is in a nut shell. first of all its summer. you need a clarifier. every household should have one in the back of their cabinet. use it at least one time a month (ie before any chemical service bout week before) than yes you need to use a shampoo for oily hair. or normal. good conditioner. always professional. stay away from greasy products in the summer. it takes at least 7 days until you will see any real results. try it. o yea... someone said don't pay attention to your scalp, not true. your hair is already dead, the scalp is the most important thing to pay attention to.
