if you are lucky, the o-ring seals are just dry and need some oil to make them tight again.

Air guns work with compressed air. When you 'pump' the gun, you are compressing the air into a resevoir that has a quick release mechanism that is activated by the trigger. In order to facilitate the movement of air in both the pumping process and the shooting (air release) process, there must be some move parts that have to be air tight. Air tight meaning that air cannot escape.
The problem you are experiencing is the air is escaping around these parts that need to be air tight. To make things 'air tight' guns of this type use o-ring, rubber flaps and other types of seals. One or more of the seals in your gun has gone bad. It either has a crack, a hole or is just worn down to the point that it is no longer air tight.
Unless you've paid major money ($75 or more) for your gun, it probably isn't worth fixing as the labor cost to have someone fix it would be more than it would cost to replace it.
Now... if you can fix it yourself.. and you don't mind taking that chance that once you dismantle the gun you might not be able to put it back together....
Then dismantle the gun and look for the seal that is bad. Keep all the parts together as much as possible with the screws and pins that were used to hold them together. I would suggest you set up a video cam or web cam to video capture the disassembly process. Once you find all the seals, take them to your local hardware store and find replacements. Then put it all back together. Seals for this type of gun, if you can find the right ones, shouldn't cost more than $5 to $7.
Hope this helps!
Good luck!

friend my bb gun done that too . its the chamber that stores the air its plit open to much and causes it to leak.or the o - ring is ruined. Best to send it off to the manufacturer and have it repaired or hang it on the wall and buy another one .I always upgrade to a better one but dont forget to oil the chamber once every 500 bb's there should be a plastic or rubber o - ring just a dab of oil will do I use 3 in one oil.

the internal chamber has been ruptured or crack. air guns obviously use air pressure but it sounds like your gun leaks so your firing power has probably been decreased. go to your local gun shop and see what they can do before it gets worse. protect your investment. peace out.
