4 pts. for an A; 3 pts. for a B; 2 pts. for a C; 1 pt. for a D, and nothing for a failing grade. So a 2.94 is a "B," and it kinda shows you have mostly B's, an occasional C, and not as many A's to balance it out.

It depends on your schools grading scale... But it is usually a between a B- and a B...
If your school has a website, check if they have the grade scale listed...
Most scales are as follows:
4.3 = A+
4.0 = A
3.7 = A-
3.3 = B+
3.0 = B
2.7 = B-
2.3 = C+
2.0 = C
1.7 = C-
1.3 = D+
1.0 = D
0 = F

its a C++ almost B. other people are wrong GPA system is very simple, A is 4 points B is 3 C is 2 D is 1 and F is 0.

if 3.0 is a B--2.94 would be a C as far as your GPA.
