I am 12 years old and I really like a guy that really likes me back. He keeps asking me to be his girlfriend, but my parents think I'm too young. When do you think I should have a boyfriend?

You are SO waaaaay too young. And, honey, there is no rush here. It'll happen when it should.....you're not gonna miss it. Spend some time being 12, for heaven's sake! Go out and be a kid while you can - hang with your friends - go places in groups - giggle with your friends over the latest "cute" guy (and groups, by the way, are where you will begin to learn how to handle yourself when the time comes for you to actually date.) Wait until you are 16 - you're not gonna die in the next four years if you don't date until then. Let 'em wait for you!

Iight well for one your still too young I mean what is the rush because you see your friends having boyfriends and losing there virginity. Nah guys only want to go out with you for one thing and thats to get into you rpants. Honestly I think you should wait to have a boyfriend until your like 17 dead honest it sounds dumb but if you do it you see the good outcome for you.

im the same age, have a boyfriend right now, but hes more of a REALLY good friend. But hes still my BF. Ask your parents if they would trust you with this guy. If they do, then jus explain that you think you are ready! You're ready! i know it

There is no age limit on when you should have a boyfriend.
If he like you and you like him back, just ask him out. You never would know what will happen.
