Depression will cause loneliness hun! Maybe you need to talk to your doctor and see if he can help. Sometime they will put you on some meds to help you with your moods. Also they might ask you if you need to talk to a therapist. I am on meds and see a therapist and I'm better. It helps talking to my therapist. I can tell him everything and know it is confidential. Maybe you have some deep seated issues that need to be resolved. Did something traumatic happen to you in the last year or so ? Because this will also cause loneliness. A lose of a friend or a loved one or even a lose of a job? Good Luck! Keep talking to us! Hugs! Von!

The answer is VERY simple. Who made your heart (that feels lonely)? Jesus. So the only thing that can push out the loneliness permanently is by asking Jesus to come and live in your heart. I think it is abandonment from childhood. being left when we are younger sends fear into our memories...so when we are alone, even in a crowd...it creeps up...
just because there are people around doesn't mean that you feel that anyone is paying attention to you or that you feel like you fit in.
