Only British use stones to express weight. A stone is 14 lbs. if you don't know. So you wegh 119-126 pounds. One of my girls is your height and weight. She exercises and is quite strong with 38"/22"/35" figure. She bench presses 175 lbs. and squats with 340. I weigh 285 and squat 780. Diet, exercise, rest and general activity are the keys to fitness. None will do it alone. You can find books about diet and exercise at libraries or bookstores. I cannot tell you all you should know here. What I can say is to notice how much time you spend inactive, e.g. watching TV. Go for a walk instead part of the time. How many hours do you sleep. Perhaps you get more than you need really. Think about all of this.

Converting stones to pounds, you weigh between 119-130. I agree with the first answerer - diet and exercise. If you're closer to the 119 lbs. side, I don't know that you need to lose a lot of weight.

You don't sound as if you need to lose weight, I am slim, an inch taller than you and weigh about 9 1/2 stone. But if you feel you do need to, just eat sensibly, don't use strange diets, but exercise plenty and reduce snacks such as biscuits, crisps and sugary soft drinks, and chips and maybe bread too. I only have snacks at weekends, which helps keep me trim.

you are able to look at a BMI chart and notice what the form for healthful, obese, and obese is on your top. 192 is on the extreme end of obese for 5'8" yet no longer extremely obese. a hundred and forty is in the healthful variety, yet on the low end. She ought to objective for around one hundred sixty five or decrease for her well being. Even dropping 10% of her weight (19.2 pounds) could develop her well being outlook appreciably.

Well first you don't need to lose more than 5-10lb. And secondly, quick weight loss doesn't work in the long term, so you just end up gaining the weight back. My recommendation to you would be the following:
1. Healthy eating with high protein diet consisting of oily fish (salmon, tuna, mackeral, trout), lean meat such as chicken & turkey, eggs, nuts, but no red meat.
2. Plenty of good carbs with a low GI such as brown bread, brown pasta, porridge, wholegrain cereal, fresh fruit and vegetables, (except for carrots, bananas and potatoes, which should be avoided or kept to a minimum).
3. Drink 8 glass of water per day.
4. Exercise regularly. Try to aim to do at least 2 hours of exercise per week, with 1 hour of a high impact cardio workout and 1 hour of intensive toning and weight training.
Good luck!

You dont need to...you are the correct weight for your height. Loosing weight may put u under weight (BMI below 20) Look on internet to find your BMI which should be between 20 and 25. Yours is.

well if u exercise eat no carbs, watch what u eat than u can lose some weight. Well you don't need to lose any weight because for your height that's the right size.
PS: The summer can make u fatter run with someone not everyday but u could. Go to the gym, but before u go to the gym make a schedule for one day to work on what ever. Don't over do it!

Take the stones out of your pocket.
But, seriously, try eating less fatty foods and exercising more often and more intensely. Make a log of your standard intake of food and drink per day (if you are so inclined), being sure to also note your level of physical activity. If you are eating more calories than you are burning, change your diet.
Cook more fresh foods, using vegetables and chicken, as opposed to eating the standard frozen dinners and boxed meals.
And, finally (and possibly most importantly), don't worry about it too much. Make the changes you need to make, and enjoy them. Do not waste the one life you have stressing about your weight. If those around you care that much (with the exception of worry based on heath, not vanity) than maybe a change of scenery would be in order.
Besides, you do not seem to be overweight by a doctor's standards.
