Yes.... would you want your man to meet some girl while you are together and then have her start picking him up for work.... It goes both ways if it would make you uncomfortable then it makes him uncomfortable and he has every right.......

I see absolutely nothing wrong in your having friends even if you are in a relationship. There is no law that prevents you from having friends just because you are in a relationship. That being said, the friend must remain a friend unless you wish to disrupt your existing relationship.
I hope that your guy has no issues with this 'friend' picking you up from work and everything. And i hope this new friend is only after your friendship and nothing more.
Lets not assume people to be very understanding. So, I suggest that you talk to your boyfriend about your new friend so that suspicions do not pop up in his head in the future.
In the end, you draw the line on how much time you spend with your new friend. Balance your time well. You must not be caught in a problem half-way into a relationship. You must be proactive and not reactive.

If you're seeing him strictly on a friend level there's nothing wrong with it, but if you start to develop feelings for him you should re-evaluate the relationship you're in. Sometimes a new person changes things because it stirs something in you, something new and exciting. If you think you may have actual feelings, not a slight crush/flick of excitement, for this person then you need to think about how you feel about both your boyfriend and this friend and figure things out. It's ok for men/women to have friends of the opposite sex while in a relationship. There's nothing wrong with it, as long as it stays on a platonic level. If that changes though, well you already know what I said. Good luck!

for me it would all come down to a matter of the heart and what my heart thought of the matter. you'd also want to ask your b/f to see his opinion and so that he knows that you don't want to betray his trust or hurt him
