You can't go crabbing in Lancaster!!! Go south into Maryland and find a nice spot in a park or other public place on the Chesapeake. Use Google and type in "crabbing Chesapeake" or "crabbing Maryland" and see what you find. You can also take Rt 41 into DE, hop on Rt. 1, and go south to the Indian River Inlet in DE but that'll likely take you longer.

You can fish anywhere there's water...any pond or lake will do, unless you're talking saltwater...in which case do the same as above but replace "crabbing" with "fishing."

Well first of all you can't go crabbing. Crabs are a salt water species, and unfortunately there ain't no salt water around Lancaster.

Secondly, are you sure there are no rivers in the area? You can't be too far from the Susquehanna. Why don't you check with some of your neighbors about fishing spots in your area. You might even look in the Yellow Pages to find something about fishing, and then ask them where you can go.
