Writing a message and that too a copied one- thats not good!!! And that too for you Dad.
I think the best message is that what you would like to say to your father if one day he is sitting wid you. You wanna express yourself in simple words- like what you feel for him, for what he did for you, what he is to you, etc....
It all depends on what you have for him in your heart. The best present wid such kinda message ( even if u write wid a simple pen on a simple paper , if a nice greeting then it would be cool) would be a small phot album that includes those moments that you love to share wid him.
All those pics assembled together that you both had enjoyed - any parties, any get together, family reunions, his office, - I dont know but any such kinda pics would really recall him all his life back.
Try it and if possible do let me know.

Get a ridiculously stupid childs birthday card, one with a badge on it for a 6 or 7 year old. Then with a felt tip pen, fill in the missing number - ie. if you got a 6 add 7, or if you got a 7 add 6. I can guarantee you that he will be absolutely over the moon and wear the badge with pride..........(from a 65 year old)..........

Do write one yourself --- write, not type or email. Good old fashion hand writing , express yourself --- 67 yrs -- its a good time to let go and be yourself with your dad ..... they may be stiff , but you never know. My dad passed away before i could tell him how much he meant and taught me ...... its always too late. Don't make that mistake. My dad was never the perfect dad, in fact, he was not really a great dad , but always focus on the good things about you dad. He will remember it for life , trust me !

Look no further than the inside of your own head. Who knows your father better, you, or some greeting card company? What would he like to get, from you? Sit down with a piece of paper and write what you would like to tell him, then give it to him. He will treasure it.
