"why are you pro-life when you know that that child is going to suffer in this life"
Have you thought about the logical extension of this argument? We all are going to suffer and die in this life, so why not just nuke the whole planet, by your reasoning? Or should we just kill anyone who is suffering, by your argument?
We are pro-life because the alternative is horrifying. If life means nothing, then Hitler wasn't evil for killing the blind and infirm, and Mao did the world a favor when he killed 50 million poor, suffering Chinese. There is also, hidden in your argument, an assumption of infinite knowledge. You assume that every child born in Africa is just going to have a miserable, suffering life. What about someone like Mandela, who was born poor and suffering? How do you posses the knowledge of what every child has for his destiny? Do you yourself think you are God? I thank God you are not!

If you actually knew us you would know that the pro-lifers ARE the ones who are adopting children all over the world. This is what I call being truly pro-life. We choose to be supportive of the unwed mothers that choose not to kill their babies and we clothe them and even take them into our own homes. We basically are willing to lay down our lives for these little ones.
Do you think ripping them limb from limb or stabbing them in the brain is the kinder Answer?
And why are you so angry about it? How does this inconvenience you? If we are willing to adopt them, feed and clothe the parents and help with their medical bills why does this personally affect you anyway? I mean economically it makes sense to have more laborers for the low end jobs and more consumers of goods to help the economy.

I would be happy if they would just adopt kids in their own neighborhood. But most people who are Pro-Life usually have 1 or 2 kids, sit at home and complain about other people having abortions, yet rarely ever venture out of their own home to help the homeless in their own community.
I don't think they have the right to tell other people what they should or should not do since obviously they are not part of any solution, just the whiners on the side-lines.

My question to you is do you think God would rather have the smashing of the skull of a child in the womb, and then sucking it out to be the end of life for a human... or any other nasty method of abortion.... or do you think God would like to see that child be born. Suffering is something every person goes through, it just depends on the form of suffering you endure, and if you'll overcome weakness. No it's not the child's (born with AIDS) fault... But that doesn't mean to just kill of the new little souls that God created. Who are we to decide who we can "kill".(abortion)... You sound as if you are trying to play the part of God... Sorry, but you are no where near his perfection. No one is. You sound as if you have no faith, or trust in God's word.... Let Him take care of what you have no say in... I'll pray for you!

They are only pro-life when they find out that their 16 year old white, christian daughter got knocked up. They don't care about African babies with AIDS. Those children might as well be on another planet. But that attitude is true of most of America, not just the pro-life wingnuts.

What are you doing to help the problem? I know many people who do go to other countries to adopt children. Also, the government in many countries will not allow people in to adopt these children.
No one is saying "Pro Suffer." We are saying that if we get pregnant we are not going to terminate a life. That is definite death. Living means that they have a chance to make the world better.
Using your logic, why keep living because we are going to be suffering.

I don't think pro-lifer's are saying that not aborting will make anyone's life easier. It's more like they are saying two wrongs don't make a right. I agree witht the person above, that education and money will be more of a benefit to the aids population of Africa. The ravages of their poverty is more harmful to them then the HIV. I am sorry you are angry, and I hope that you didn't lose someone dear to. It is good for you to talk it out. Scream and be heard, do not drown in your unspoken words....if in the end it leads to your peace.

Do you realize that you are making absolutely NO sense whatsoever? Abortion in America is not going to help all those babies in Africa born with AIDS. Those kids can be very grateful that there are AMERICAN CHRISTIANS there doing their best to help educate the people, and to alleviate suffering as much as they can.
Take a valium. Eat some chocolate. Watch a good movie on television. You'll feel better.....

That has to do with the quality of life, not pro-life versus pro-choice. If you're worried abotu AIDS-babies, sexual education and protection is what you should be ranting on about. Not abortion.

Pro-lifers only care about humans from conception to birth. After that, sex is no longer involved so they don't give a hoot.
