It doesn't. get your facts straight and stop being a bigot.

Every Indian has the right to choose and practice his/her own religion. The problem comes when evangelicals offer money/bribes to convert -- this is not right. There are documented stories of christian evangelicals touring the tsunami hit regions and telling people that they will only get aid if they convert, or telling them that the reason they were hit by the tsunami was because god was punishing them for their religion.
See: http://in.news.yahoo.com/050116/139/2j1rp.html

There are also documented cases of christian terrorist organizations using conversion's in India as a tool for their political agenda: http://www.christianaggression.org/item_display.php?type=NEWS&id=1069145781

This is not just in India. A Swedish non profit noticed and documented the same thing happening in Buddhist Thailand. see: http://www.christianaggression.org/item_display.php?type=NEWS&id=1136263276

The commandments say "love thy neighbor" not love thy christian neighbor, so anybody who refuses to help other people based on their religion is just plain wrong, and I would think that the person is violating one of the commandments and is not a christian in the first place.

The bottomline is that you cant just make a cut and dry statement such as "Hindus get upset with lower caste conversions" -- becasue it is not the conversion that upsets people, it is the way the conversion is done that is upsetting. Which is why there is a backlash.

Please try to learn more about the issue before making generalizations based on racial / religious stereotypes.

The Koran pretty caters to converts, the Koran says to remodel human beings, or martyr your self (with the seventy 2 virgins, and so on.) by killing others. The Koran, and Islam, are bent on replacing something else of non-believers (infidels), This replaced into Ghandi's best lament, that once he kicked the Brits out, that the bloodshed that said replaced into inevitable. So the Hindus are terrified of the Muslims, organic and easy. i do not imagine they're too terrified of Christians.
