is it adviceable to use olive oil as hair oil?

My sister used that once after heating it up, and she rubbed it on her scalp. She smelled like pesto (in a good way, lol). Don't use it too often though, bc it does spoil. I don't know about castor oil.

You can definitely use olive oil on your scalp as well as your hair.In fact you can even use olive oil on your skin.There are plenty of products on the market that have olive oil in it. (shampoos,conditioner's,etc.)Just make sure you're not allergic to it.

you can make a mask: take a few spoons of olive oil, a teaspoon of lemon juice, 1yolk and mix everything. then put this mask on your hair and put on a cellophane, then a warm, wet towel on it. leave it for 2hrs and rinse with warm water.
