Hopefully the software contains clipArt

I create brochures all the time... I usually use Quark Express. I went to the library and borrowed a three-hour video that explained the basics of Quark, and then I simply taught myself the rest. I'm not quite sure if Quark, in and of itself has clipArt - I have several other design programs Smart Draw (for floorplans), Sure Thing (for designing CD Labels), Photoshop, Illustrator, Word (has its own clipArt), and PowerDirector (DVD authoring - has its own clipArt). I use the clipArt from all these programs interchangeably. Also, you can scan images into your computer and use those.

Hope this helps.

You can do it the easy way or put a little more thought into it. I have "Publisher" - which makes it easy. Boxes for text and graphics are presented and you just have to fill them in.

I make brochures at work and prefer to do my own in Word. I start by opening a blank file, set it as landscape, with the smallest margins my printer will allow. Then, I set it to 3 columns - for a three-fold brochure. You can enter section breaks, column breaks, graphics as you wish. Might take a little more time, but that's my thing.

If you have Microsoft Office on your PC, you should have MS Publisher. This program offers templates for brochures, doing a lot of the work for you.

If you don't have that, get Scribus. Don't remember the website, but just search Scribus from google. It's like Publisher, but completely free.

Hope this helps.

MS Publisher is probably the best for you, though expensive. An alternative which is very good is "Publisher" by a software company called Greenstreet. The link is below ...

Scribus is true desktop publishing application for free (www.scribus.net). Scribus is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. This site also contains a tutorial.

I would recommend using Microsoft Publisher seems to work the best but it does cost money.

If you would like to try the new beta version of Publisher 2007 all online go here:

Ever try Sun Micros "StarOffice"?

Or Serif Software's "Pageplus"?

Both of them have free download versions for you to check out.

Download them from the links given below and find out for yourself!

Cheers.
