I never ever had them, but they're benificial to my diet or something, so I have to eat them. What am I in for? And if you hve any, what are some good recipes?

They're round, brown, and chewy. They're very sweet. Have you ever had a Fig Newton cookie? Fig is what is inside them.

You've never had a fig nuton cookie? (sp?) Find a local middle eastern or Mediterranean store. They always have figs. Ask if you can taste one.

They taste like figs and look like figs

they are lumps of fibred and mummified, melasses-like, almost crystalised, fruit sugars. Sticky, sweet and tough. Put them in yoghurt to neutralise this.
