It is one of the oldest questions with out satisfactory answer. Still it could be egg genetically, but not experimented as yet in a scientific laboratory.

I'd say that the hen came first. Because without the warmth of the mother hen or an incubator, of some sort, the egg would never hatch. No warmth for egg = no chick = no chickens, ever!
And if the chicken had evolved through time, then the one-celled organism that evolved into it, was the first.
So, unless you believe in animals coming to existance automatically (like "some" religions...), without the whole "evolving through time" thing, then the chicken comes first, anyways.
Either way, the egg came second, no matter what.
But why listen to me? I'm just a 14-year-old girl...
