Absolutely. On a daily basis mostly because I work in Manhattan.

If you like Italian food and happen to visit the Times Square area try Bond 45 (154 W. 45th St., New York, NY 10036 near Seventh Ave). Bond 45's dark-stained paneled room, with its aged tile and diffuse Deco-ish chandeliers designed by Tony Award winner John Lee Beatty strains to look as if it has been around since the days of Fiorello La Guardia. But so what—the place treats you like family while executing home-style cooking at least as solid as mom’s. Not only are the cheeses distinctive and, just as promised, “unexpectedly refreshing,” but they’re surrounded by roasted peppers, fava beans, and prosciutto. From a list of pastas priced and portioned to allow middle courses without gluttony, we favored an expert cacio e pepe, al dente spaghetti confidently topped by only grated pecorino and black pepper, and, happily, the Bolognese. Bond 45 touts a focaccia-based version of pizza called pantondo for a steep price. Better to shell out less for the large, garlic-showered scampi, or the chicken brightly seasoned with lemon and fennel. Better still, go ahead and pay more for the sizable fish of the day. The kitchen needs to whip up some desserts that better reflect Bond 45’s determined high spirits. Only the parfait of limoncello granita provides the right spark, and only after you shovel through a vat of whipped cream.

Another really good Italian restaurant in the Times Square area is Carmine's. Carmine's is located at 200 W. 44th St., New York, NY 10036 between Broadway and Eighth Ave. Carmine's family-style Italian-American cooking has near-universal appeal: Portions are huge, which makes it fun and economical for large groups. The food, while not complex, is lusty and garlicky and better than at many fancier places. Carmine's big, raucous dining room is jam-packed every night—you can expect to wait an hour or two for a table if you don't have a reservation, and plenty of people do just that.

Yes, apparently they have amazing restaurants there, but when I went we ate at all of the wrong places.

Every time you sit down, it's always around $50 for two people, for us at least. I recommend doing as much research as you can to look at reviews and determine which restaurants you will be staying at before you go to New York. That's what I should have done.

China town there are many, many great restaurants to go to, Last time I went I ate at "Les Brasseries" This is Anthony Bourdaines restaurant on Park Avenue The food is amazing. Yup. Ate near ground zero a few months after 9-11. Had a great meal in a restraurant that employed out of work Broadway dancers and actors. They waited and served singing and dancing. What fun!

Yes, I have eaten in New York many times. I used to live there. One of my favorite places was called "Once Upon a Stove". It was a combination antique store and restaurant. Another was "A Quiet Little Table in a Corner". It was arranged so that each table was sort of hidden in a corner. Very interesting. Good food in both of them.

Yes, and the food is absolutely awesome! If you like hot dogs Grays Papayas is the place, and pizza would have to be Lombardi's. I don't know if you are planning on going there, but they have every cuisine you could imagine.
