Although some people use this as a glorified IM because they are bored, many people ask questions that they need an answer to. Maybe they don't have or can't afford a family counselor or attorney to advise them. Maybe they can be anonymous here and ask questions about divorce or separation or dating that they can't ask to those close to them. In general, people try to increase pleasure or decrease pain--this might be a forum for that.

Not everyone does but this site is really helpful when you get between a rock and a hard place and need some real advice from real people. It's nice to get opinions from a lot of different people on the same subject. It is very helpful.

because alot of questions on here are meant to be taken seriously they are serious questions.And the people asking the question would like a serious answer
