Yes actually they do. I used to be a Catholic and the priests and nuns did go to confession too. They had specific times when they did it so that there was another Father in the church to take the Fathers confessions. They are humans too and they have sins just like the rest of us.

Of course all priests have the same religious obligations of every other Catholic. They too must confess to a priest. Let's set the record straight! Catholics not only must confess their sins and do their penance, we must also correct the wrong. If I commit murder I will not receive absolution until I confess to the authorities. If I steal I must admit to who I stole from and repay or face legal consequences. Too many people seem to think we just say "sorry" and pray, and that we can commit any sin and get away with it.

Yes, They also need to confess. Priests are also human beings like us. They are not perfect. they also commit sins. They confess their sins through their fellow priests.

Never heard of that, being a lutheren. But i guess they confess to other pastors and priests. At my church, when we have communion, the "under" Pastors give the real Pastor of that sermon the bread and wine.

no. here's the thing about priests. they think they are God's chosen, that thy talk to God, no one else can, like the Pope. THAT is not true. They think they are perfect and can do no wrong, when, most of the time, they do not follow much of the stuff that they themselves say. YOU can confess to God yourself. The priest doesn't have to do it for you.

Nope, you don't need to confess your sins to a priest so God hears it. You can confess directly to God because Jesus Christ's death brought renewed relationship between mankind and humanity.
