Why is it that if a man can "adjust" himself (grab his crotch) in public, it's OK, but if a woman fixes her bra or rearranges things in public, she'd be stared at and it would be considered tacky? This is assuming the woman is doing it THROUGH her shirt...not lifting her shirt or removing it.

To clarify things a bit: I have never fixed my bra or rearranged things in public. I don't think it's OK to adjust things in public places...regardless of your sex. It's just that I see men doing this all the time and it seems to be alright...almost expected. I assume if a woman was walking down the street and did this with her breasts, she'd probably get a bunch of stares and whispers and people pointing.

it's a man's and world and it's their rules. and actually 5 million yrs ago there were a lot of tribes in europe that sent the woman out to just as much huntin as the men. AND men did housework just as much as woman. it wasn't til recently that the whole 'men are superior' line of thinkin came into play

I think anyone should be able to rearrange things if they need to. But men don't look at it like that. And most of the people calling you tacky are men.

WHO says men adjusting themselves in public IS OK???
It is not proper but they get away with it.
So a woman can get away with doing it too.
WHO cares about etiquette these days? Not many people in HERE I can say!
Adjusting oneself should be done in private, a rest room or somewhere not in public.

Its aliright. I dont care when i see anyone adjust themselves. I just know that they are uncomfortable and need to fix it. We shouldnt be judged on it becasue we all know we have adjusted ourselves one time or another whether it be our bra or underwear.

In my circles, it is not at all appropriate for a grown man to "adjust" himself in public

For the same reason that you weren't sent out to hunt wild game 5 million years ago.

because we like to look at women's breasts and when they are moving them around it makes us want to look more.
Also i thought a guy adjusting himself was more rude then a girl doing it. It is just that most guys don't really care.

because every once in a while "the boys" get uncomfortable and need some adjusting, that's all. If you don't like it don't watch it.

although, both genders tend to sexually desire the other, girls are better-looking! if you think that i am being sexist, just ask yourself if nude girl mags sell better than male nude mags. there is more of a market for us! GIRLS ARE BETTER!
females are supposed to be more "ladylike". males are accepted, by society, to be more crude.
the pros and cons of "the fairer sex".
