Why should we listen to him, and not the Gospels?

All of God's Prophets were given signs for the People, so that no liar could speak in God's Name. What were Mohammed's credentials?

The Gospels were written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Paul was busy doing other things at the time. (Mostly writing the Epistles and starting Christian Churches, but also spent time in prison) He didn't have time to change the Gospels. They were complete by AD 100 and have not changed since. Hebrew and Greek versions are still available, and do NOT disagree with the English translations.

Nothing. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the Prophet and Messanger of God. He delivered the message and lived his whole life according to Qur'an. Muslims have to believe in and worship One God.

You have the free choice to follow what you believe is right. You don't have to listen to him and believe anything he teach and preach. Keep following your own religion. There is no compulsion in religion.

Ok listen to the gospels. Agreed?

The Gospels have many prophecies that tell about the coming of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). But unfortunately many Christians have the wrong notion that these prophecies refer to Jesus Christ (Peace Be Upon Him).

If you analyze them, you find that they dont fit to Jesus Christ (PBUH) at all.

The GOspels were the word of GOD, even we muslims believe it. but then, they were corrupted. St. Paul added a lot to it. Hey St. Paul was not GOD, he is a human being, why believe it?

Therefore GOD sent the final messenger, as he had sent messengers before (Abraham, Noah, Moses, Jesus) to complete HIS word and for guiding humanity till the Doomsday.

Don't listen to Larry S and his little minions' B.S.

The only thing that Muhamad claimed to be was a prophet. His miracle? The Qur'an, which was revealed to him bit by bit through the angel Gabriel. He was an honest man, to the point where even those who ridiculed him and called him a liar would trust their wealth in his care. He was also wise and the tribes used to let him make some of their decisions. He was kind to those non-Muslims who treated Islam with respect, and he loved his family and friends. He never lost his temper, never engaged in inappropriate behevior (even before Islam) and even as he died, when asked if he wanted God to take away his painful death, he refused to go the easy way. He was also very soft-hearted. When people wronged him, he would say "Don't hate them, for they don't know any better". He told people that hatred is a disease and that your heart should be clear of it.

He spoke of prophets before him; Jesus, David, Moses, Abraham, Jacob, etc. He told people never to praise him above any of them. He warned people of Allah's punishment which would come at the end of time. He never taught people anything that the other prophets hadn't, except for new commandments that God meant for people to obey. He was a simple, illiterate shephard who had been destined for greatness.

Ignore the above user: Typical so called Christian who has made up his own assumptions as to calling Prophet Muhammed the prophet of the devil. Did God tell him that?

He will surely burn in hell, this... i do know!

We (Muslims) acknowledge the untainted version of the Gospel (Injeel) as being the word of God as told to us in the Holy Quran.

There is a whole chapter dedicated to Mary and Jesus's miraculous birth and other miracles he carried out as a baby and as a prophet.

We see the Christians as our brothers and sisters, it is only those war mongers of both cultures who choose to instill hates and indifference in our hearts by staging wars and the killing of innocent people on both sides.

The Jews denied Christ as Messiah.

The Christians should not make the same mistake with Muhammad because Jesus predicted the coming of the nation of truth and prophet Mu hammed (Ahmad).

I'm not a muslim, but (IIRC, someone more in the know please correct me if I am wrong) the basis of the formation of Islam is that the angel Gabriel came to the Prophet Muhammad and laid out the Quran for him (over the course of 20 years) and had him copy down every word that the angel said. The Quran is taken from God (Allah) to Gabriel to Muhammad, and is word-for-word the word of God.

And one of the things God told Muhammad though Gabriel is that Christians have got it wrong, and that Jesus (Isa in Arabic) was not the Son of God.
