I don't think this earth is hell. I love this planet and by and far I enjoy my life on it. I also look forward to eternity with God.

Debra

So many answers, an no one knows. Heaven is the promise for the good, and hell is for the rest. even if hell is here on earth, if you live your life as if you were in Heaven than Hell does not matter!

I don't believe in Heaven or Hell but I have heard of Hell on Earth so I guess it is possible.

If we use Asian philosophy of the 'yin' and the 'yang'(equal opposites), then it is easy to believe that we are living in hell. If heaven is supposed to be perfect in all aspects there must be an opposite. Now let me ask you...what is perfect on earth??

Well, to me it is the other way round ! ! !
The uncertainties of life is the thrill, chances to redo things we really enjoyed doing, but occasionally failed ! The challenges we face from all around, and the big joke about experience ..."Experience is the best teacher, but gives lessons only after giving the test !"...
The heaven, has no thrills to offer, EVERYTHING is planned, arranged, certain, predictable, with nothing more to do about anything (look at the modern gadgets, ready-made-unending-lists of things we can buy at reasonable cost, that has made the pleasure of any effort redundant !), no need to buy anything, no need to desire(!), AND ALL THIS FOR ETERNITY. You are bound to be bored (no, no, not to death).... to eternity. Are we discussing hell or heaven , please decide for yourself !

Yes a heaven exists. And yes, this is hell.

If in this trip down you don't learn to unconditionally love and think, you get sent back to the recycle bin, AKA earth.

Yes. There is a heaven, and if there is a hell, this is it. Think of all the negativity and unhappiness there is here.

We're just one of a bunch of species spinning on a rock in the middle of nowhere. Due to our larger brain we have become self aware and are currently trying to learn how to co-exist. It's a trial and error process due to the many different belief structures.

Sure, any thing's possible. I think there are some eastern religions that subscribe to that philosophy.
