The Comforter

You never need to feel or be alone:

"I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;...

"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you" (John 14:16, 18)

Baptism of Fire

I want to talk to y ou about the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost.

"When they were all baptized and had come up out of the water, the Holy Ghost did fall upon them, and they were filled with the Holy Ghost and with fire" (3 Nephi 19:13).

There are two parts to baptism-- Baptism by water and baptism by fire or the Holy Ghost. If you separate the two, it is but half a baptism.

The Godhead consists of three personages, The Father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Ghost is a personage of Spirit who testifies of truth. He does not have a physical body, but a spirit body, no flesh and bones. It is the mission of the holy ghost to be a part of our lives as a gift from God, the holy ghost cannot dwell in unholy temples. This is why it is necessary to be baptized by immersion , by proper authority, for the remission of sins and then confirmed, or baptized by the Holy Ghost, by the laying on of hands, saying "receive the Holy Ghost".

You won't learn this in Catholic school, I was raised Catholic myself and never quite understood the concept. You might be interested in the restored doctine of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have found the doctrine to be easily understood and truthful.

Read the Bible, John and Acts..the Holy Spirit is the paracelete Christ sent. When you were in parochial school did you ever notice any paintings or stained glass doves around how about flames? Those are symbols of the Holy Spirit. The King James version of the bible calls the Holy Spirit the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Ghost/sprit was created by God at the moment Adam and eve began to experiment with judgment.

The fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is a metaphoric reference to judgment.

God realized that judgment was only a fantasy but he realized that Adam and eve would believe that it was real because they had created it.

The holy ghost/sprit was created by God to understand the fantasy of judgment and also hold the truth until we realize that judgment is what is blocking us from the garden. This truth is held within us, for us by the holy spirit/ghost so we can never be completely lost to God.

If any of this made sense to you, I suggest that you get a book called the course in miracles. It somewhat exhaustively explains the idea you are talking about in great detail, And a whole lot more.

It’s well worth the effort.

Love and blessings

Obviously it is God the Father who is referred to in the Old Testament without any hint of a reference to Christ or the Holy Ghost. In the entire pre-Christian era, among all the Jews who believed in the Old Testament and must have heard this verse hundreds of thousands of times, there was not one who could read the name of Christ in the creation of the Universe or that of the Holy Ghost. In his Gospel, St. John suggests ‘Word’ to stand for Jesus. It is strange that such an important subject has been taken up by author of only one Gospel; by someone who was not even a disciple of Jesus.1 Even if one accepts his word to be the word of God, still it can only be understood to mean the Will of God; a concept that is common to many religions with reference to Creation.

Holy Ghost is a creation of MAN.

Holy Ghost is referring to the Holy Spirit in the Godhead aka The Holy Trinity. It is the spiritual form of God.

Christan's believe in the Trinity. The Father (God), the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. It's a little confusing for me. I was about 12 when I learned about it, and I don't participate in that religion now. But the Holy Spirit is like the spirit of God. It lives in our hearts or some thing like that....
