Believe me, you just don't wanna do it! I fell for that myth years ago, and all I ended up with, is about 15 poetry books, and in dept up to my ears...They get you into their books, but the prizes are a myth...Nothing...And voted best each time!!!
Also you have to pay them, they don't pay you...I lost all my books a few years later when my house and all my possessions burned to the ground...

The hardest poetry contest is the one where you try to woo he one you love with poetry. Talent does help.

yes, i have entered them. they say you have a chance to win, want you to order their book featuring your poetry, and go to seminars where you can read your poetry, but the bottom line is you don't win....it cost you....
just write a book of poetry and get it published or just share your poetry with others.....

you have to be yourself while expressing your thoughts and the simpler they are the more charming and true they sound!!
