Am I racist?

Question

I beleive that by letting anyone into the UK and giving them everything without ever paying into the system is wrong, they are choking our hospitals, occupying the houses that UK tax payers and there forefathers have paid to build, taking benifits from our government and working for cash as well. If there is a genuine reason for someone to leave there country then let them in on a temporary visa, but when there home is safe send them back.

I dont think Im a racist, but the politicaly correct in our society are going to sink this country, I cannot even fly my own flag.

The benefits immigrants get are so large that why we have a large influx into our country ..The way this Government wastes
vast ammounts of taxpayers money on this and many subjects

what a good point u are making. ive been so afraid to say these things incase im called racist. the fact is, i dont have a problem with people of a dif skin colour, religion, etc. but i do apose to people taking the p*ss out of our system. i myself am sick to death of having to struggle my way through life and being given no help, where as some people can come here, get given everything they need and want, including free driving lessons (for gods sake) and can bring family here aswell, and live a very comfy life, and then accuse our country of being racist. i mean where is the justice? i agree about the flag thing too, its a joke. what the hell is bad about flying your own flag? if u come to this country then u have to accept that this country belongs to the people who live here.
but i also belive that alot of racism is insighted by the 'polically correct' idiots. my nephew came home the other day and said that it was not baa baa black sheep, but baa baa green sheep. WHAT THE HELL??? do kids really think that way? do WE really think that way? or the word BLACKBOARD. isnt that wat it is? a board...thats black?? since when has saying the name of a colour become racist????? i could go on and on. i have many friends and even family or different colours and races, but all respect the country they are in and do not take the p*ss.

I dont think your a racist at all (judging by what you just wrote anyway). If a person is under threat in his country by all means leave. But stop at the next safe place. And go back home when there is no longer a threat. How many perfectly safe countries does say a Somalian guy pass thru before he reaches Britain for example? A lot if not most of the Asylum seekers arent here for safety, they are here to exploit our generosity, and a lot of people are getting very fed up of it.

There are plenty of British spongers too who never pay into the system but want to claim benefits, get a free house and still work on the side. And there are lots of immigrants who are hard-working and make a valuable contribution to our society and economy.

I'd agree that we've got a problem with people who take the pi55, and we need to tighten up across the board. But you're not suggesting we chuck out all the white British trash are you? By only focusing on foreign immigrants, I think you're views would be considered rascist/ xenophobic.

As you say your forefathers paid for but remember We the UK plundered other countries to accrue our wealth and started (we also ended) the slave trade. Don't you think that the children of our slaves should be looked after ?

if we can give chavs benefits and housing why not the people who really need it such as people seeking refuge in our country. Most of these people wold love to return to their country however the simple fact is these countries wont be safe for them to return to for many years.

As for flying the flag, fly it high, be proud of it. unfortunatly both the union flag and the st georges cross have been hijacked over the years by neo nazis like the national front and the bnp. take it back from them and relegate them to the sewers where they belong

Society here is falling apart and we are concerned with Immigrants, have you met many yourself? I have seen more chav scum ruining our country than I have immigrants. Hence I struggle to get riled by immigrants as the media will always distort the message.

Personally, I don't think you are racist, you are British (not BNP,hopefully). This country is paying for it's Imperial past and now it's present be nice to everybody attitude 'cos we've been at war with most of 'em.
